ACL Rehab Membership
If you’re reading this, it likely means either you or someone you care about has suffered an ACL injury. We’re truly sorry, because we know this is a tough journey—a rollercoaster of emotions, from frustration to moments of achievement and joy. No athlete should have to navigate this path feeling lost or without a clear roadmap to recovery.
A Fully Integrated Approach
Typically after an ACL injury, athletes see a physiotherapist for early-stage rehab and might consult a Strength & Conditioning coach to build strength. However these two professionals work independently from each other, and key rehab components including recovery and nutrition expertise are missing. That’s where our program is different.
In partnership with Physio Revolution, we’ve designed one of the most comprehensive ACL rehabilitation programs available in the private sector. From day one post-surgery (if applicable) to full return to play, we handle every detail to rehabilitate your knee like the pros! We’re not only aiming for a successful return to play but we want you to be a better and more rounded athlete at the end of your rehab than before you got injured.
What You Can Expect
- Full physiotherapy support throughout the entire rehabilitation. With 16 sessions scheduled throughout the 9-month rehab process, your physio will liaise with all other team members to ensure everyone is on the same page the entire time.
- Expert strength and conditioning programming to ensure safe and effective loading of your body through the entirety of your rehab.
- Early-Stage Care: You’ll receive 8 x 30-minute remedial massage therapy sessions with our in-house therapist starting in week 2 to regain range of motion.
- Mental Well-Being Support: Emotional factors like fear of re-injury can lead to altered movement patterns, which in turn may cause improper knee loading. You will receive 5 private sessions with our Athlete Well-Being Specialist, Dr. Sacha Fulton, at key stages of your recovery, starting from week 2 until your return to play.
- Nutrition for Recovery: To ensure you’re fuelling your recovery, we offer 3 private sessions with our Sports Dietitian, Lizzie, during early, mid, and late-stage rehab. She’ll provide you with meal plans, supplement advice, and tailored guidance to meet your changing energy demands.
- 7 day weekly program delivered to your phone on an app. Our Physiotherapist and Strength and Conditioning coaches have spent many hours designing the rehab program to ensure it is the best in the private sector

- Advanced Data Tracking: Using VALD’s performance testing technology such as force plates, dynamometers, timing gates, and NordBord, we collect precise data to measure your progress and provide instant feedback through our app. Click HERE for video example.
Without this level of monitoring there’s a 20% chance of re-injury to either the reconstructed ACL or the other knee within a few years.
Our testing also reduces strength asymmetry (if one limb is more than 10% weaker than the other) and Rate of Force Development (RFD) asymmetry (if knee extension is over 15-20%,) and addresses these issues before they cause problems.
The risk of ACL injury occurs in less than 100 milliseconds during high-speed movements, such as awkward landings or sudden changes in direction. Our program emphasises exercises and training to improve your dynamic knee stability, focusing on building strength and speed to reduce risks.
Final Stages & Performance Testing
As you near the end of your rehabilitation journey, you will receive advanced performance testing to ensure your body is ready for a safe return to sport. Tests include:
Physiotherapy Testing throughout:
- Force plate assessment
- Hop tests
- Patient-reported outcome measures such as the ACL return to sport index
Strength and Conditioning testing examples:
- Isometric Mid-Thigh Pull
- Countermovement Jumps
- 20m Sprint
- Pro Agility 5-10-5, and more
As well as the testing sessions along the way, we will do a joint testing session at the end to give you the best confidence in a successful return to your sport.
